This Tomme is made with goat’s milk and is lovingly named after the current cheese-makers’ grandmother, who started aging local goat’s milk cheeses in the late 1940s. Hand-made with goat’s milk from local farms, it’s lightly ashed in a traditional manner and has a thin layer of shaved black truffle through the center. The flavor is light and zesty with a subtle earthy note and aromatic after-taste from the truffles. The texture is firm, but smooth and even – melting in the mouth

Langres is French washed-rind cheese produced near the town of the same name in the Champagne Ardenne region of the country's northeast, and was granted AOP status in 1975. The best season for Langres is usually summer through autumn, when the milk is at its best. After production cheeses are matured in cellar conditions for a period of between four and five weeks, during which time they develop much of their unique character. The rind of each wheel receives a coating of annatto (a natural red dye derived from the seed of the South American annatto shrub) that turns it a golden-orange color. They are also washed regularly with brine and Marc de Champagne to encourage the growth of the molds on the rind that mature the cheese. The cheese is known for its distinctive depression, or "well" in its uppermost surface, which is known as a "fontaine."

Sweeter than your typical cheddar, Prairie Breeze starts with adding a proprietary blend of cultures and vegetarian rennet to coagulate the milk. The curds are cheddared and then aged for a minimum of 9 months. Anyone who’s tasted Prairie Breeze knows that this cheese is different, but perhaps couldn’t put a finger on it. While it has the tangy, piquant, umami-rich flavor of many quality cheddars, a prevailing sweet and nutty profile emerges. It is full flavored with hints of pineapple and almond undertones. A crumbly texture develops along with an abundant amount of tyrosine crystals. Its paste is fudgy on the palate allowing it to linger on the tongue

The power of Serralunga meets finesse in this brooding beauty. Deep raspberry and cocoa notes surge forward, held in check by classically structured tannins that speak of the village's iron-rich soils. There's something wonderfully untamed here - like the old fruit trees that still stand guard at each row's end, it's a wine that refuses to forget its roots while embracing its future. — Jeff Porter

One of three separate cuvées Anita produces from her holdings in the Moulin-a-Vent vineyard of Les Caves, “Reine de Nuit” (“Queen of the Night”) comes from a 1.3-hectare planting of 40-year-old Gamay in manganese-rich granite with southeastern exposition, situated at 280 meters altitude. Its name refers to Anita’s practice of harvesting the fruit for this bottling at night, between 3:00 AM and 9:00 AM, to capture as much freshness as possible. Aged six months in cement after a classic whole-cluster semi-carbonic maceration, “Reine de Nuit” is almost Pinot Noir-like in its sumptuous fruit and refined carriage, and while it offers a sense of structure appropriate for its cru, the tannins are remarkably suave

W.I.P. stands for "Work In Progress," a name that reflects founder and winemaker Alex Evnin's philosophy that wine, like life, is always evolving. The idea is refreshingly honest. Alex grew up surrounded by vineyards in Napa Valley, but it was her adventurous spirit and time spent in New Zealand that helped shape her perspective as a winemaker. At first sip, we noticed that the wine carries the freshness, precision, and energy often found in the finest cool-climate Chardonnays of New Zealand. The nose offers bright citrus, green apple, pear, and white stone fruit. On the palate, the wine feels focused and intentional, with vibrant acidity, subtle texture, and a clean mineral-driven finish. What impressed me most was its sense of purpose. Every element feels carefully considered, resulting in a Chardonnay that is energetic, refreshing, and remarkably precise

100% Pinot Noir from the Sojeau Vineyard, owners Dennis and Thelma Peseau’s personal vineyard. It crests a boulder strewn outcropping of volcanic soil on the high Western flank of the Eola-Hills, leering down from 700 feet toward his former property Eola-Springs and the famed Van Duzer Corridor. Fermented with native yeasts in two lots, the larger of the two with 18% as whole cluster, and a “sans stems” lot of 100% destemmed berries. The final blend came from three barrels of the 18% whole cluster lot and one barrel from the all destemmed lot, almost 16 total months in oak, 25% new. 13.4% alcohol. 95 cases made. Light to medium bodied, juicy and smooth, with impressive flavor concentration and power. Tart red cranberries, cherry, earth, graphite, roses and tea all make an appearance

The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is the wine to focus on in this range in 2018. Dark and brooding, the 2018 is such a classic Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet. It offers up copious black fruit, dried herbs, chocolate, lavender and underbrush, all in a super-classic, mid-weight style that is hugely appealing. This might very well be the best value in artisan, high-end California Cabernet

96 Points/'Highly Recommended,' International Wine Review : "The 2022 00 Wines Pinot Noir ‘VGR’ from Willamette Valley pours a captivating medium ruby-blue core with a delicate light pink rim. Crafted from fruit typically destined for the Richard Hermann Cuvée, Chehalem Mountain Old Vines, and Hyland Old Vines, this blend offers a nuanced and layered expression for the vintage. On the nose, spicy pepper and forest herbs provide an inviting introduction, soon followed by flavors of red Bing cherries, mountain huckleberries, and bright orange zest. Earthy notes of damp soil and allspice, alongside an umami complexity, bring depth and intrigue to the palate. With sweet fine-grained tannins and moderate-plus acidity, this Pinot Noir exhibits excellent structure and balance, culminating in a truly refined and elegant finish. A little over 1000 cases made. This cuvée is sourced from vines the age of which is between 45 and 70 years. A wine of exceptional concentration for a village level appellation, this wine is always a true expression of the kimmeridgian soils that make Chablis so distinctive. Aged for thirty months before release, Defaix’s old vines Chablis is richly dense with a classic “pierre a fusil” bouquet and long mineral-infused finish

Anita owns a 0.44-hectare parcel of 50-year-old vines in the pink granite soils of Moulin-a-Vent’s La Rochelle vineyard, exposed to the southeast and sitting at 240 meters altitude. In line with her “Coeur de Vigneronne,” this cuvée is produced with a mind to cellaring, and a vertical she presented during our first visit was indeed stunning in its complexity. Fully de-stemmed, this undergoes a three-day pre-fermentation cold soak before spending 24 days macerating with daily punch-downs; aging takes place entirely in used barrels for a full year. Despite its ample structure, the acidity here is bright and ringing, and the tannins are gracious, spreading broadly across the palate. A murmuring undercurrent of warm stones and damp earth elevate this cuvée far beyond the fruit-driven frankness of much Beaujolais

With just 20% new oak which melts into the ripe dark berry fruit, there are subtle notes of cocoa dusted cherries and charcoal embers. There is real intensity to the wine with pixelated, supple tannin that frames the fruit with real finesse. The finish is long, fresh and extremely harmonious

Featured in the new series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, this limited-edition bottle of Chateau Picard 2221 was served at a private dinner party hosted by Captain Pike in his quarters. While Captain Pike cooks for his crew, he shares a bottle of this rare 2221 vintage. Like its predecessor, the 2221 Chateau Picard vintage was also put together by the actual Chateau Picard from an estate in the heart of the world-renowned Saint-Estèphe region in France. This elegant Cru Bourgeois Bordeaux is 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Merlot blend. This bottle was another amazing collaboration between the team at Star Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (who created the label) and the 5th generation winemakers at the real Chateau Picard in France creating our second in a series of Chateau Picard offering. Following the story line, this bottle was created over 165 years before the original Chateau Picard 2386

“Cuvée P’tit Co” comes from a 45-year-old parcel of Gamay situated at 265 meters altitude in soils of pebbly quartz. With its cool northeasterly exposition and lighter soils, this vineyard produces a charming, pretty wine of delicately articulated spice and gentle tannins. Anita employs whole-cluster semi-carbonic fermentation in cement for this cuvée, followed by six months of elevage, also in cement vats

Anne Gros and Jean-Paul Tollot, 2 Burgundy winemarkers, are combining their knowledge in different beautiful terroirs in Cazelles in Minervois. This wine comes from grapes grown in three cepages which complement each other to give us this wonderful cuvée. On this great terroir consisting of limestone and clay soils, facing south, the white blinding limestone of Agel gave us some wines full or great energy. These fine wines, which benefit from careful maturing in barrels, represent a cuvée superbly silky, combined with concentration and a mineral persistence full of finesse. It is the magical combination of a burning sun and cool soil, from where, deep within, the wine draws the water it needs. Early and steady maturity, lovely acidity… A great Terroir consisting in: 1.30 HA of 25 year old Syrahs 0.80 Ha of 108 year old Carignans 0.50 Ha of 50 year old Carignans 0.50 Ha of 12 year old Grenaches

Anita owns a plot of old vines in Morgon’s Château-Gaillard vineyard, situated at 250 meters altitude and exposed to the south and southeast, with relatively poor soils of friable quartz. Fermented with a combination of whole clusters and destemmed berries, this cuvée is aged 80% in cement and 20% in used Burgundy barrels—an elevage well suited to this terroir’s tendency toward richness. Anita perfectly checks that richness, creating a wine of deep, dark fruit, subtle salinity, and a clean, soaring finish

Domaine Huet’s 2023 Vouvray Sec Le Haut-Lieu is a dry Chenin Blanc from old vines planted on tuffeau limestone soils in the Loire Valley. The domaine practices biodynamic farming with hand harvesting and native yeast fermentation, aging partly in stainless steel and neutral oak. Anita produces this cuvée from a 65-year-old planting on a lower part of the slope (240 meters altitude) in Les Caves in soils of decomposing granite with streaks of manganese. If the “Reine de Nuit” offers a certain lifted elegance, “Tres Vieille Vigne” harnesses the power and sap these old vines are capable of. To that end, Anita ages 25% of the blend in used Burgundy barrels, extending the elevage to ten months—a regimen which underlines the Pinot Noir-like qualities of this site even more clearly than the “Reine de Nuit.” A heady overlay of savory spice calls to mind great Morey-Saint-Denis, and its dark-cast fruit is dense but not overdone

The renowned Poncié vineyard produces wines which beautifully balance elegance and structure—the epitome of what makes Fleurie so desirable. Anita’s old vines here are planted in soils of crumbly pink granite at 260 meters altitude on a southeasterly exposed slope, and she employs a “layer cake” of whole clusters and destemmed berries for the fermentation. Aged six months in cement, this wine showcases Anita’s deft touch with extraction, offering incredibly pure and precise fruit which interlocks seamlessly with the ultra-fine tannins

This cuvée is the vin de garde of Anita’s trio from Les Caves. Sourced from a 0.82-hectare parcel of southeasterly exposed vines planted at the highest part of the vineyard at 290 meters altitude, “Coeur de Vigneronne” is fully de-stemmed, with extraction performed via punch-downs rather than semi-carbonic maceration. Aged a full year entirely in used Burgundy barrels, it offers more tightly grained structure and thicker fruit than its two vineyard mates, yet Anita’s masterful sense of balance is on full display

Aged for just over one year in a combination of 80% French barriques and 20% American oak. ANTONIO GALLONI 95 POINTS - "These are some of the most seriously impressive wines I have tasted from Jaffurs. Winemaker Stephen Searle squeezed every drop of potential out of what the vintage had to offer. "Our Rhône varieties were ready to pick at slightly lower sugars than what we usually see," he said." "The 2022 Petite Sirah Alisos Canyon is a blend of Thompson and Nolan, whereas previous vintages were all Thompson. There's a bit more natural ripeness in Nolan, and that very much comes through in the wine's ripe, red-toned profile. A touch of American oak adds sweetness that works so well here. Most importantly, winemaker Stephen Searle tamed the Petite tannins admirably well."

The fruit for this Gamay was harvested from several vineyards surrounding our winery in the Arroyo Seco AVA. This AVA is recognized as having the longest growing season in California. Strong daily winds that bring cool fog from the Monterey Bay allow the grapes to spend more time on the vine building flavor, complexity and acidity. Extremely rocky well-drained alluvial soils are the base for creating wines processing freshness & minerality. The combination of sand, granite, and shale loam soils with the ever present marine influence provide the perfect conditions for growing Gamay

93 Points Decanter "This deeply satisfying Bourgogne boasts a deep ruby colour and forward aromas of ripe cherry and wild strawberry. The structure is supple, with firmish tannins, good freshness and concentration on the palate that suggest this could also age. The vines are all in the Gevrey village limits, east of the Route Nationale. The domaine owns 5ha here that were purchased in the 1960s; some of the vines were planted then. The grapes are mostly destemmed before a gentle fermentation and aged in mainly used casks to produce this exemplary wine.(NM)"

Notios Red brings together carefully selected Mediterranean grape varieties cultivated in Gaia’s vineyards in Koutsi, Nemea, within the PGI Peloponnese region. The cooler and wetter growing regions of Oregon clearly favors the delicate, but seemingly boundless potential of the Pinot noir grape, a variety that seems to show its best on the fringes of suitable grape farming area. "Cold boiling Pinot” is Kate’s go-to phrase when describing this wine, and that just might be the simplest and best way to explain this explosion of yumminess. This red Portuguese wine comes from the Trás-os-Montes region. The name literally means “behind the mountains,” and reflects the location of the region in the northeastern section of the country. The most important river in this area is the Douro, which further downstream supports the production of Port wine. This wine is a blend of Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, and Tinta Amarela. Tinta Roriz is also known as Tempranillo in Spain. Touriga Nacional is one of Portugal’s finest red grapes, and plays a significant role in the production of port. The grape is known for high tannin and black fruit flavors. It has a tendency to have high yields, and thus must be carefully controlled to produce complex wines. This wine is medium ruby in color with a slight orange color near the rim. The aroma is primarily of black cherries and ripe plums. On the palate, the wine presents the same black fruits with medium acidity and medium tannin. Wine club red, July 2026

The vineyards for the production of this Montepulciano are located in Pianella, which has the characteristic to be positioned next to a small natural lake. The proximity to the lake allows the roots of the vines to stay humid even during the dry season. This freshness is found in the wine, elevated in stainless steel to leave unaltered this natural characteristic. After being selected and harvested by hand the grapes are taken to the winery to be destemmed and crushed and then set in stainless steel vats under controlled temperature for which only one delestage follows. The wine obtained is racked in stainless steel vats where it rests for almost a year to then age six months in bottle

A fantastic White Burgundy that should command a higher price point, but luckily for us, it doesn't! Grab this and our other Chardonnays and figure out if you like new or old world wine best! Sustainable farming (moving progressively to organics) from just over 20 acres on the flanks of La Roche-Vineuse. This is Alain’s original cuvée, and is still made the same way: diligent farming, spontaneous ferments, and a long aging on the lees (that spicy zesty quality in the finish of the wine comes from the lees contact). Production varies between 4,000 to 5,000 cases

A thrilling red blend that brings together three native grapes that thrive on southern Italy’s rich volcanic soils. Piedirosso, with its delicate floral aromas and silky body; Aglianico, with notes of smoke and licorice and muscle; and Olivella, a rare red grape with blueberry notes and tons of saturated ruby color. Traditional Rioja Crianza from San Vicente de la Sonsierra in Rioja Alta—a village renowned for age-worthy, elegant reds. Bodegas Hermanos Peciña was founded in 1992 by Pedro Crespo Peciña and his three children. The blend: 95% Tempranillo, 3% Graciano, 2% Garnacha—a classic Rioja Alta recipe. Aged 24 months in neutral American oak barrels followed by 18 months in bottle before release. This is the kind of Rioja that made the region famous: finesse over power, balance over extraction, and exceptional value

Before Clos Rougeard purchased their legendary chenin parcel on the hill of Brézé, the white wine from this iconic domaine was produced from the venerable “Les Poyeux” vineyard. Today, Les Poyeux is almost exclusively planted to cabernet franc but Fabien’s mother's family still owns a mere 8 ares of chenin (0.08 hectare) and, as far as we know, he is the only person making a single parcel bottling of Les Poyeux Blanc. The wine is fermented and aged on the lees in used oak barrels. The resulting wine captures the unique, delicate limestone signature of the vineyard. Only 10-12 barrels produced each year

Wine Enthusiast: 92 Points "This new project for this onetime Rhône specialist delivers satisfying Pinot at a very fair price. Black plum, elderberry and violet aromas make for a darker nose. This white wine comes from Moselle AOC in northern France, which is named after the Moselle river that originates in the Vosges mountains near Alsace and travels north through Lorraine before flowing into Germany and becoming the Mosel river, along which many of the world's best Riesling grapes are grown. The wine is a blend of four grapes, featuring 50% Auxerrois, 20% Muller Thürgau (a crossing of Riesling and Chasselas), 20% Pinot-Gris, and 10% Gewurztraminer. These are all grapes that are home in colder climates, befitting the most northerly AOC in all of France. The wine is medium straw in color with some hints of gold. The intense aroma is of green apples, white flowers, with some hints of riper fruits like yellow apples and apricots. On the palate, the wine is a bit more tart, with medium plus acidity and flavors of green apples and pears, with a long finish

Venta La Vega farms an expansive 850 hectares. It is the largest continuous plot of organic agricultural property in the EU. The property has two winemakers. Laura Ramos makes the Adaras wines, while Raul Perez makes the Ternario wines. This wine comes from the Garnacha Tintorera grape, which is otherwise known as Alicante Bouschet. This variety is a human-created cross of Grenache with Petit Bouschet, and unlike many red grapes has a colored pulp, which produces a richly colored wine. It is the fifth most planted red varietal in Spain. The wine is deep ruby in color with a watery rim. The aroma is intensely fruity with tart red fruits and especially raspberries. The palate is equally fruity with medium sandy tannins and a moderate length finish

The 2021 vintage of our Belle Pente Vineyard Chardonnay is a great example of the potential for Chardonnay in the Willamette Valley. Initial notes of almond, clover honey and honeysuckle open up into juicy yellow plum, lemon, and clementine. The wine widens on the palate and then is brought to a potent mineral finish like wet stones and oyster shell. This vintage is a little riper and deeper than others we've made, and it brings the grape's Burgundy roots to mind but with an Oregon interpretation. The racy minerality continues to unfold with air and carries through the long, vibrant finish. All of the features of this outstanding vineyard work in concert to impart a riveting, tight-rope tension to the wine that suggests it's only just beginning to come into its own and will improve for several years in the cellar. Enver Salman Vineyard, Clarksburg Jeff Runquist's Cabernet Franc is a medium-weight wine with soft supple tannins. It spends less than a year in barrel and is bottled prior to the following harvest. It is produced in more of a Loire Valley style than Bordeaux. For many producers Cabernet Franc is treated similarly to Cabernet Sauvignon and extract and depth are key components. The Loire Valley style places more of an emphasis on youthful charm and bright fruit and this is the type of wine we aspire to produce from Cabernet Franc. We manage the tannins, and the resulting wine is zesty and flavorful and free of astringency

92+ Points Vinous "The 2022 Sangiovese Romagna Predappio is darkly intense, with a youthfully brooding bouquet of crushed ashen stones and flowery underbrush complicating a mix of blackberries and rosemary. It's lifted and graceful in style, soft textured yet slender, with tart wild berry fruits and salty mineral tones guided by a core of brisk acidity. The 2022 leaves the palate drenched in primary concentration and a coating of fine tannins, austere yet still juicy, as a pleasantly bitter tinge fades slowly. The 2022 is still tightly wound and in need of further cellaring, but with that said, it has the balance and complexity to mature beautifully over time. Enjoy the exuberant 2021 while waiting for this beautiful bruiser to come around." March 2026 Wine Club Red

For the production of Lini's classic Martinotti-method Lambrusco (also known as Charmat-method Lambrusco), a still Lambrusco is produced and then racked to pressurized, temperature-controlled tanks where the second fermentation is provoked. The wines are then aged on their lees until the desired complexity and nuance are achieved. Lini's wines are renowned for their signature freshness and classic dry character. Thanks to Fabio Lini's artisanal approach to sparkling wine production, their bright red fruit and berry flavors are balanced by juicy minerality. Their clean but lingering finish makes them an ideal pairing for a wide variety of cuisines

The 172ème édition, based around the 2016 vintage, is a delicate, floral and saline Grande Cuvée at this early stage in its life. It's exceptionally long, spicy, rounded and spherical in shape. Notes of sweet unsalted butter round out the finish, which has such length, elegance and balance. 58% of the wine is from the 2016 vintage, which saw a lot of rain in the spring and close to flowering, with 42% from reserve wines. 40% Xarel-lo, 40% Macabeu, 20% Parellada “Jané Ventura’s vintage-dated Brut Nature is a legitimate rival to Champagne. Missing this is a crime against sparkling wine: Finding a more sophisticated, painstakingly crafted, and outrageously delicious bottle for this price is next to impossible!” –Ian Cauble, Master Sommelier The Brut Nature Reserva spends two and half years on lees and then is bottled without a dosage (extra sugar) as the quality of fruit is so high they do not feel that they need it. Most Cremant du Jura is grown down in the broad valleys, where the land is generous and the wine is pleasant. Domaine Ligier is in Arbois, on the marl and clay slopes that give the Jura's most famous wines their savory backbone, and the family treats their sparkling wines with the same seriousness as their still ones. This is 100% Chardonnay made in the traditional method and aged 12 to 18 months on the lees. Because it grows on clay and marl rather than chalk, it does not taste like a Champagne copy: it is broader in the shoulders, deeper in texture, and unmistakably salty in a way that says Arbois. 100% Garnatxa (Grenache) In 1914, Josep Jané was working as a salesman in the Penedès region; through sheer drive and initiative, he took the first steps to create what we now know as Jané Ventura, one of the region’s premier producers of Cava and other indigenous styles. Josep’s great grandson Gerard currently leads the team, carrying on a rich history that grew steadily throughout the last century. Today, in addition to the grapes sourced from estate vineyards, Gerard continues longstanding relationships with 20 area growers throughout Penedès. They have been certified organic since 2010, and organic in practice for much longer. 97 Points International Wine Review "I am blown away by the 2020 Pasxa Rockgarden Mourvèdre, with scintillating aromas of boysenberry, ground black pepper, violet flower, roasted beef ribs, Asian spices, crushed Spanish olives, and a hint of game to top it all off. The palate brings additional notes of dried cedary herbs and iodine to the table. Unbelievably complex and decadently delicious, this could be my favorite Washington Mourvèdre I’ve ever tasted. The phenomenal structure and balance come with no rough edges to speak of. High recommended."
One of Châteauneuf-du-Pape's most collected reds, Domaine Paul Autard's La Côte Ronde comes from an old-vine parcel planted 75-90 years ago in stony, fossil-rich soil at the heart of the appellation. The blend is an even split of Grenache and Syrah, aged 16 months in 100% new French oak, producing an intensely concentrated, lush-textured wine layered with dark fruit, black pepper, smoked meat, wild herbs, and warm stony earth, framed by vanilla, cocoa, and baking spice from the oak. Made only in strong vintage years, La Côte Ronde has consistently drawn 90+ point scores. Critics have praised its "cassis, blackberries, graphite, ground pepper, and violets" character alongside impressive tannic structure and 10-15 years of aging potential
Redefining Retsina wine in a new quality context, we have meticulously selected grapes of Roditis variety which grows on the hills surrounding Nemea, in Korinthos. Combining these low-yield grapes with state-of-the-art wine making technology, and a carefully calculated quantity of resin from the Pinus Halepensis variety of pine tree, we have succeeded an ideal balance. The result is a new Retsina wine with a color of white yellow and green shades. A refreshing wine balanced perfectly between pine and grapes, its citrus expression coexisting with its aromatic pine resin, on equal terms. A wine that can harmonically accompany the adorable, beloved and far from typical Greek menu

Texas is probably not the first state that comes to mind when you think of states that produce wine, but grapes have been grown there since the arrival of European settlers. The Texas Hill Country AVA is one of the up and coming wine areas in Texas, which was established in 1991 just to the north of San Antonio and west of Austin. Most of the grapes grown in this area are red varietals, including Sangiovese and Mourvèdre, but wineries are also experimenting with white grapes. This wine is a blend of grapes from France’s Rhône Valley, with 39% Viognier, 33% Roussanne, and 28% Marsanne. This wine originates in Block 8 of the vineyard, thus the name “Ocho.” The wine is pale gold in color. The aroma is notably floral coupled with notes of peaches, lychee and beeswax, complemented by fresh-cut herbs.
