Authentic Israeli food owned by an Israeli. My husband is from Israel and he was impressed to find such authentic Israeli food in Miami! We had the cauliflower and eggplant as well as mezze platter. We felt we’re back on the street of Tel Aviv! All the food was flavored with middle eastern style spices. Hummus and tahini were fresh and tasty!

We liepen hier toevallig langs tijdens het shoppen, en hadden niet veel trek maar een bord humus laten we nooit schieten. Deze smaakt super lekker en is minstens zo goed als die we in Jeruzalem en Tel Aviv aten. Hele aardige eigenaar, we kregen vers ingevlogen baklava te proeven. We komen hier zeker nog terug!

In het miami design district heb je een kleine foodcourt met 8 restaurants. jaffa is een israëlisch restaurant waarvan de eigenaar ook een kookboek geschreven heeft. hij heet yaniv cohen - the spicedetective - en kan heerlijk koken. de humus is verrukkelijk, de pita’s super. wij hadden ook een platter van kip shoarma met tablouleh en kikkererwten. echt een aanrader
